"My love for animals started when I was a young child. I convinced my parents to adopt not one, or two, but three stray cats that had found their way to our home. Tigger, Tiger and Muffin were wonderful cats that taught me a lot about cat care and responsibility. As I grew older, I helped capture and re-home many more strays that wandered into our neighborhood and eventually became the "go to gal" for hire when neighbors went on vacation and needed someone to take care of their cats.
My love of dogs came to fruition when I happened upon a pet store that had puppies up for adoption. There I became entranced by the Almond shaped, sappy eyes of a Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever and Chow mix. The special bond that formed would forever set the tone of my love and respect of dogs. "Kelsey" became my constant companion, my confidant, and playmate to my young son. 13 years later when I had to say goodbye, I couldn't thank her enough for the love and loyalty she bestowed upon me. Research, as well as my personal experience has found that pets do a lot better when they can stay in their own home. In May 2012 I decided to launch Abundance of Love Pet Services, LLC because I wanted pet owners to have a professional, reliable and most importantly an affordable alternative to boarding." |

"Greetings all!
My mother tells me that my first word was "dog." Strange, since we didn't have one at the time however, animals and I were meant to be together. I have been pet sitting for over twenty years and transitioned it into a full time in 2015. In addition to caring for animals, I have a young dog at home that is going through obedience training (my parents take care of her when I work). I also volunteer with the Northwest Great Pyrenees Rescue located in Washington. If its a day I'm not working, you'll likely find me at a dog park ogling at all the other dogs or hiking somewhere green with waterfalls. My future goals are to walk the Camino in France/Spain and write an amazing book. I look forward to meeting you and your furry children." |
